Malian Americans are Americans of Malian descent. The cities with the most significant population are: New York City, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, and Baltimore. Malian Americans speak several African Languages, being the most spoken the Bambara, they also speak French (as second language) and English. New York is home to approximately 8.000 Malian Americans.[1]
